Are you interested in helping to create housing justice in our community?
Get started by exploring the ways our Social Justice Teams work towards equitable and affordable housing for all.
The Problem
Rising rents, evictions, onerous housing laws, and systemic barriers for low-income residents.
Our Vision
Shelter is one of the most basic human needs. We seek to create an environment where everyone has a roof over their head, where rent is affordable and housing options are plentiful. To do this, we want to provide clear options for our congregation to get involved, either by helping directly or by making their voices heard.
Our Work
We create housing justice through policy advocacy, community organizing, and direct action. Every so often, we also work on special projects together, like putting together supplies bags for our unhoused neighbors and Family Tree gifting at Christmas.
Explore each page below to learn more about our work in each of these impact areas.
