Being an Elder is a support group for members and friends of Common Flame who are in their 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, or beyond. It will meet in the chapel once a month on the 2nd Thursday of each month beginning at 10:00am til noon. The first meeting will be on Thursday Nov 13. We will create a supportive environment in which to help each other deal with the very real challenges of life as we age. And to seek to grow into Elders. Calling all artists! The acoustic stage at Unplugged is wide open for musicians, poets, comedians, and storytellers of all kinds to showcase their talent. Pack a picnic! Highly encouraged, bring your favorite food basket and treats to enjoy a beautiful summer evening under the stars. Bring the whole crew. This relaxing, community-centered event is completely family-friendly and perfect for all generations. Join us! See you on the back patio from 6:00–9:00 PM on August 14 and September 11.
