Brooke Maddaford

Brooke Maddaford was raised in Chicago in the Catholic faith, but by her early twenties she began seeking other ways of accessing the divine. She, her husband Kevin, and their (now) 7-year-old son Felix joined JUC in the spring of 2016 after a long search for a spiritual home that was open-minded and truly welcoming to all people. Also in 2016, Brooke was a founding member of the Family Ministry Team (FMT) and she is still on the FMT today. For the past eighteen years, Brooke has been a professional book editor and, since 2006, she has owned a freelance book editing business called Word Hawk Editing, LLC (www.wordhawkediting.com).
