The 2026 Plant & Goodie Sale, benefitting EarthLinks of Denver, will take place Friday, May 8th, and Saturday May 9th in Gilla’s garden and on Sunday, May 10 at JUC’s Patio and Commons inside at the Abundant Harvest Table. There will be wrapping materials in the kitchen.

Support this fundraiser by donating baked goodies and extra plants you may have in your garden. Please bring your donations during sales hours or contact Gilla Lachnitt to make an appointment.

All plants are labeled. A little gardening experience is beneficial, but not necessary. We are looking for friendly faces to welcome and support the shoppers. The shoppers decide how much they will donate, we accept cash and have a QR code. Sign up to volunteer here!

Dr. Baker and Rev. Wendy are creating a time to be together that centers music, silence, poetry, and ritual on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm in the Chapel.

Join fellow JUCers for an afternoon of ecstatic drumming, and possibly dancing. No drumming experience required, no age or physical limits, beyond the ability to stay up til 8 pm. Bring a hand drum if you have one, but we also have extra drums and other instruments to share. Dancers are always welcome!

Unitarians, Universalists, and Unitarian Universalists have always worked for justice and liberation! Come explore how our Unitarian and Universalist theologies have informed that work, as well as how liberation theologies from other traditions continue to inspire us as UUs!

We are a group of queer people and queer allies here at JUC committed to raising awareness of issues that affect the queer community and fostering communication between queer people and our allies. We will be turning that awareness and education into action, including but not limited to, helping our unhoused find refuge and helping our queer youth find safety and community.

Join our housing justice teams AND our immigration support team to celebrate the victories of the past three months, discuss the intersection of housing and immigration justice, and learn what’s coming up!

This event is a follow up to the Allies in Action – ICE Edition on March 15th. What is going on in Colorado right now? How active is ICE? Is there an ICE holding room near you? What is your local PD’s policy in the presence of ICE. We will present a range of opportunities to engage in action that could make a difference including direct outreach, policy change and neighborhood groups that set up lines of communication to better respond to emergencies. We will continue to use the map to connect neighbors and build on the groups that are already forming.
