Give to Special Plate Collection
Since 2013, Common Flame has given away our our entire collection plate one Sunday a month to an organization within our community.
During the 2025-2026 church year, we gave away $36,406.
Our 2026-2027 recipients are:

August 2026: Clothes to Kids
September 2026: Edgewater Collective
October 2026: Arvada Rising
November 2026: First Nations
December 2026: The Action Center
January 2027: The Mountain Top
February 2027: Earthlinks
March 2027 (Easter): Family Tree
April 2027: Unitarian Universalist Service Committee
May 2027: Family Promise of Greater Denver
June 2027: Cobalt Abortion Fund
Do you have a suggestion for a special plate recipient for the 2027-28 church year?
Our special plate application form for next church year (2027-28) will be made available in early 2027. All applications will be considered during the May 2027 meeting of the Justice Council.
Priority will be given to 501(c)(3) non-profits that:
A few organizations to which Common Flame has existing deep ties are automatically included each year, including the Action Center, Family Tree, and the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee.
