AnnMarie retired five years ago as a “Technical Fellow” in Systems Engineering, proving your career can indeed take you all the way to a new gender. Along the way she has collected pieces of paper that say she is qualified to do: classical piano, the culinary arts, physics research, lean six sigma process improvement, agile program engineering, meeting facilitation…and manual typewriting. Today she enjoys being part of the Common Flame Choir, Chalice Choir, Welcome Team, and Pastoral Care Coordinating Team. As well as music, she enjoys skiing, tennis, golf, hiking, camping, and traveling to faraway lands with her husband Mark. Beginning life in a nonreligious family, AnnMarie has now become a committed UU mid-lifer and seeker. She finds spirituality both in beholding the beautiful physics of the universe, and in brightening people’s days with humor and compassion.
