Welcome to the Queer Social Justice Group!

We are a group of queer people and queer allies here at JUC committed to raising awareness of issues that affect the queer community and fostering communication between queer people and our allies. We will be turning that awareness and education into action, including but not limited to, helping our unhoused find refuge and helping our queer youth find safety and community.

Several airports in the US and globally are taking measures to reduce their environmental impact. We’ll hear about concrete examples from Renée Azerbegi, an expert who has been on the forefront of sustainable architecture and building design for decades, including with Denver International Airport.

Please join the Queer Social Justice group for a discussion of anti-trans ballot measures. We will have speakers from groups around the county who are helping our trans siblings. We’ll hold a discussion of how we can help, and what resources are available.
