Rev. Shawna Ambrose

Rev. Shawna Ambrose was ordained by the Church of the Larger Fellowship in 2014 and received final fellowship in 2019. She started her ministerial studies at Meadville Lombard Theological School in 2010, inspired by the spiritual dedication of prophetic movements that address humanity’s deepest longings such as the justice needed to prevent war and promote lasting global peace. She works  for an international climate justice organization and continues our prophetic tradition by following the leadership of The Poor People’s Campaign, Grassroots Global Justice, Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition, Common Cause, and many others. She is also a city council member in Arvada, Colorado. She lives there with her two children (Rose and Rex), partner (Nick), two cats (Finn and Jake) and dog (Chip).
