Rev. Ruth Rinehart

Rev. Ruth Rinehart is a member of Jefferson Unitarian Church, and affiliated as a Community Minister. She works as a recovery coach with Whitian House, an outpatient treatment center in Lakewood, serving incarcerated folx who are living in community corrections. She is an active member of the JUC Racial Justice team and Queer Connections. She lives with her long-time partner, David Hurlbut, in Golden, with their cat Pie and suburban permaculture homestead. Daughters Lora and Amelia are fully launched and living their good adult lives. Ruth's parents joined Central Unitarian Church in Paramus, NJ, in the mid-60s, but it was coming to JUC in 2008 that brought her back to the faith again.
