Jude Markel

Jude Markel has been accompanying his whole life, whether it be churches, choirs, musicals or bands. He’s played just about everything from Bach to Broadway! Jude started playing for UU churches in 2019, with the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Stanislaus County back in Modesto, California. After graduating from University of the Pacific with a BM in Piano Performance, he came to Colorado in 2023 to start his Masters, and soon after started playing for JUC. In 2025, Jude graduated from CU Boulder with his MM in Collaborative piano, and became Assistant Director of Music here at JUC. Outside of his work with JUC, he accompanies the Sage Singers (a Denver based elder LGBT+ choir) and the music programs at Grandview High School.
