Wholeness Week 2: Leaving a hole makes us whole.

Throughout our abundant lives, we can find simple and quick ways to connect our learning and growth at church to our lives at home.

Enjoy this month’s Spotify Playlist!

At Church:

We made a horseshoe shape in our group time instead of a circle. We want to leave room for new people to join. We read The Big Umbrella by Amy June Bates and Juniper Bates.

Morning time:

“Horseshoes are better than circles. Leave space. Always leave space.

Horseshoes of friends > than circles of friends. Life can be lonely. Stand In horseshoes.” -Glennon Doyle

Drive Time:

Listen to the song One Voice by The Wailin’ Jennys

Meal Time:

It’s important to leave room for people to join in our circles. What circles are we a part of? What actions can we take when we see someone outside our circle so they know there is an opening if they would like to join? Is there a time you have been included or excluded? How did it feel?

Bed Time:

Read Ribbit by Rodrigo Folgueira

Family Time:

Invite a neighbor or friend from school to join your family on a trip to the park.
