Inspiration in a Few Minutes
The Daily Compass offers words and images to inspire spiritual reflection and encourage the creation of a more loving, inclusive and just world. It is produced by The Church of the Larger Fellowship, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation Without Walls.
UU World – The Magazine of Our Faith
The Unitarian Universalist Association publishes the quarterly UU World magazine on behalf of its member congregations. It’s also all available online. UU World’s mission is to help its readers build their faith and act on it more effectively in their personal lives, congregations, communities, and the world.
Experience the inspiring messages shared each Sunday, or catch them online if you missed one.

Sharing music making is a great way to get to know other folks at church. You can sing in our choir, join our handbells, or try out for our worship band. Children and youth have their own opportunity to grow in our two children’s choirs, Children’s Choir is for kids from kindergarten through third grade, and Radiance Choir is for fourth- through eighth-graders, and Resonance Choir for our high school youth.
To find out how you can connect to our Music Ministry, please contact Keith Arnold, Minister of Music.
If you are concerned about justice in our community and in our world, you can connect deeply with other members of our church, and our outside partners through one of our justice ministries. We partner for justice with the community of Edgewater, with the Maya Achi in Guatemala, with individuals facing homelessness and poverty in Jefferson County, with organizations working on environmental sustainability, and more.
The Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) is a religious organization that combines two traditions: the Universalists, who organized in 1793, and the Unitarians, who organized in 1825. They consolidated into the UUA in 1961. Learn more about the national association of which Jefferson Unitarian Church is a part.
“It is a curious error to suppose that you can carry on effectively a great liberal tradition while remaining ignorant or almost ignorant of the beliefs and achievements of the people who have handed that tradition over to you.” — Harry Meserve

The classes offered on this site run for a week, during which time students read (or view) materials and respond to questions for reflection. All posts are emailed to class members and the teacher, and students are welcome to respond to one another and to ask questions of the course teacher.
