Morning Time

Read Where I’m From by George Ella Lyon.  If you’re feeling inspired, write one of your own!

Drive Time

As we enter into the holiday season, be mindful of the memories you are making. Have an informal walk down memory lane about past Thanksgivings or other holidays.  What do you remember? What do your kids remember? How can you set up your holiday season to create the kinds of memories that will last?

Meal Time

So often our culture drives us to want stuff, yet memories often end up being much sweeter than any possession.  How can we change our views to value activities that bring us precious memories?

Bed Time

Share a story with your kids about your favorite holiday memories.  (Note to yourself the essence of your memory and let that guide your holiday season with your family!)

Family Time

Watch Inside Out together. Discuss/draw/write about what you think your Core Memories are and how your Islands of Personality were formed.
