Beth Leyba and Annie Scott will lead an introduction followed by small group discussion on Talking with Children About Race. By three years old children understand there are differences in skin color. By necessity, parents of color talk with their children about race in America. White parents need to learn how to have this important conversation starting at young ages and continuing throughout childhood with their children. Let’s begin to practice together.
