Spring Celebration Service

Sunday, June 4, 9 & 11 am

Please come to church for this Multi-Generational service where we celebrate our teachers, our COA Youth, our bridging seniors and all of our kids!    Middle and High Schoolers and their families are encouraged to attend 2nd service.  Our younger kids- 5th graders and teachers will be recognized at each service.  Come to whichever service works for your family!  

Family Promise Orientation

Sunday, June 4, 10:15 am & 12:15 pm – Mills Foyer

Want to learn more about our Family Promise volunteer opportunities? Join us for a 15 minute walk thru of how we organize the program at JUC, description of tasks, and time for questions.

Family Promise Host Week

Sunday, June 11 – Saturday, June 17

There are many family-friendly opportunities to volunteer for Family Promise!  Most tasks are 2-3 hour commitments. Detailed job descriptions are on the sign up. Contact Judy Douglass or Laura Hollingsworth with any questions. Sign Up Link

We Are Parents (+ kids!)

Tuesday, June 20, 5:30-7:30 pm

We will share a meal together, then the kids will go to childcare while parents participate in interactive and fun programming put together this month by Sarah and FMT member Heather DeCaluwe.  Please sign up so we know how much food to order. March at Pride!

Sunday, June 25, 9:30 am – Cheesman Park, Denver J

Families of Color Summer Gathering

Monday, June 26 ,  6-8 pm

Join the Rush Leeker family at their home for a summer potluck. The Rush Leekers will provide the main dish. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Enjoy a summer evening while connecting with other JUC families of color. Sign Up Link

Summer Faith Exploration Programming 

This summer we will continue to have Faith Exploration classes for all our kids!  

June theme:  Pride 

July/August theme:  Sunday camp (summer camp theme)

Children between the ages of 3-11 will participate in summer fun. The nursery will be open for our little ones.  Twelve year olds and up are encouraged to volunteer in the classes! We will also be offering a variety of activities for our Middle and High School youth – more about that soon! 

Please let us know if you have a camp skill you would like to share during a Sunday camp class this summer!
