Annie Scott is the Director of Religious Education for Children, Youth and Families. She grew up in Oregon in a close-knit Methodist and musical family. She didn’t attend a church from age 18 through 30 when she and her husband, Mick Mortlock, began attending a Unitarian Universalist church in 1990 to give their blended family a multigenerational, value-based community. It didn’t take long for it to become more.
Annie came to JUC in July of 2015 after serving four other congregations as a religious educator in Arizona, Pennsylvania and Oregon. She received her Unitarian Universalist Association Religious Educator Credential in 2012.
