Music at Jefferson Unitarian Church plays a vital role in the
ministry of the church.

JUC Choir

Wednesdays 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm – Chapel/Sanctuary

The purpose of the JUC Choir is to nurture the musical and spiritual life of Jefferson Unitarian Church through enhancing worship services with inspiring music that promotes UU principles, building a welcoming and supportive community, and encouraging musical growth. JUC Choir meets for a weekly rehearsal on Wednesday evenings in the chapel/sanctuary from 7:30 to 9:00PM. All are welcome to this volunteer choir, regardless of previous music experience or ability. JUC Ringers

Wednesdays 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm – Priestly Room

JUC Ringers is an intermediate handbell choir whose purpose is to provide music that uplifts JUC worship services and special events around 4-5 times a year. JUC Ringers meets for a weekly rehearsal on Wednesday evenings in the Priestly Room from 6:15 to 7:15PM. All are welcome to this volunteer handbell choir, but music-reading ability and previous music experience are helpful. JUiCe

JUC’s worship band JUiCe provides engaging and worshipful musical offerings to worship services twice a month. Frequently featuring guitar, bass, drums, and other instruments, the Worship Band’s participation is partly made possible by generous donations to the Bill Mangham Memorial Worship Band Fund.
