We want our college-age youth who attend school both in other parts of the United States and those working locally to continue to feel welcome at JUC. We have several ways of doing this:
- Care packages mailed to our college youth before each semester’s finals. If you know someone who you would like to have receive a care package, please e-mail their information to Jill Armstrong.
- Get-togethers twice a year to reconnect with friends:
- A white-elephant gift exchange and party during Winter Break
- A barbecue in June
JUC helps support the Spiritual Freethinkers on the Colorado School of Mines Campus. For more information about that organization and/or meeting times, please contact Faculty Advisor Tina Voelker or click here to visit the website.
If you are interested in attending services or other events at JUC and in need of a ride, please contact Jacqui Ainlay-Conley at 303-940-1425.
20s and 30s
The 20s and 30s group seeks to connect young adults at Jefferson Unitarian Church — everyone from those just having bridged from YRUU to those who are older and interested in participating in our activities. The group meets twice a month. Activities range from watching movies together (Popcorn Theology), to small group ministry at a local brewery (Theology on Tap), to serving dinner for the Severe Weather Shelter. Get added to the email list to find out what’s happening and when.
Theology on Tap: Join Rev. Eric Banner, Assistant Minister, for small group ministry with a beer! The group meets every third Friday of the month at one of the breweries in Golden. Sign up here to RSVP.
