Everybody can contribute to leadership, whether you want to participate on a committee or lead one.

See the Draft Leadership Matrix on the left to get an idea of the qualities and competencies needed to serve as a member or chair of a committee, a council or the board.  Below is a list of resources to help you grow your leadership capacity.

 UUA “Drive Time Essay Series” are self-guided pod casts that engage, enlighten & motivate lay leaders.
 
InterConnections is a quarterly newsletter for lay leaders and professional staff in Unitarian Universalist congregations, providing information and resources that help make congregations vital.
 
Visit the LEAP Group webpage (Lifespan Education and Adult Programs) to see JUC adult education classes led by members who have expertise in leadership skills.
 
The Mountain Desert District sponsors the Russell Lockwood Leadership School that is a week long immersion experience that prepares UUs for congregational leadership.
